LAZER ALTER

Lazer Alter was an installation based around the concept of Thought & Perception.

I created a room that had a heavy sensory experience through the use of lighting and aromatics.

Lazer Alter was a room set with column stations creating a long walkway with silver bowls sitting a top each pedestal. As an observer walked toward the alter they were prompted to take a handful of scented powder and set an intention or prayer. When they stepped up to the portal, they cast their powder into the void, and saw it illuminated in a cross grid of green lazer light.

This was based on the idea that thoughts and emotions are ever present around us, and hold power, even though we cannot regularly see them
